Summary
Tony Stark finds a homeless Peter sitting in a coffee shop. Peter deals with being mentally stunted due to past trauma and is pretty naive. Tony ends up offering Peter a place to stay with him. Peter lies about his age so he can stay with Tony.
This is a story of two damaged people learning how to make each other whole again.
Extra little warning I feel I should add. This is NOT going be a short story. This going be very very long. I hope I can hold everyone's interest throughout.

Summary
Peter Parker was taken on some day in September. He was no longer the same. There were little bits of him shining through, sure. Like when Peter woke up in the med bay.
"M'ser S'ark?" Peter had whispered, going to sit up. "M'ster S'ark, M'ster S'ark, Mister Stark—"
Tony had hugged his boy, a hand finding Peter thin, unhealthy hair, and his boy immediately relaxed, ramblings quieted.
But other than those small moments, those moments that let Tony know hope was not completely lost, Peter was gone to the world.
Or: Peter Parker learns that sometimes healing takes longer than expected, and that that’s okay.
