Kaedehara Kazuha is one of the higher-ups in the mafia who specializes in debt handling. He wants to quit his job, but he owes his boss a lifetime debt. Ironic, for him to owe a debt when he is the one who piles the dead bodies of those who give empty promises to pay back the debt.
Y/N is a worker in a cafe who is trying to earn as much money as to pay back her loan and her rent. She had her share of horrors, with her family pronounced dead after a tragic car accident, escaped her second uncle's family who works on sex trafficking and slavery with the help of her long-lost relative, and almost got raped by that relative. Now she managed to score a job in a cafe on the outskirts of Inazuma. She hopes that she wouldn't meet any of her relatives. Well, not yet. For now.
When Y/N closes the cafe shop, she bumped into Kazuha. Red eyes met hers as they start a relationship between themselves despite the blood on the floor, the smell of gunshots coupled with the aroma of fresh coffee. That is the true flavor of the latte frappe.
Will they be able to find their destined paths? Or will they fall into the depths of bitterness where there is nothing but the blood left to satisfy their tastes?
