Summary
butterfly effect: a property of chaotic systems (such as the atmosphere) by which small changes in initial conditions can lead to large-scale and unpredictable variation in the future state of the system.
A retelling of Persona 5 Royal with small things that make big impacts, and some BIG things that make massive impacts. Joker is a bit more of a flamboyant idiot (hooray for theater kids!) outside of the Metaverse, and there will be more Phantom Thieves than canon.

"As he walked, his mind began to quiet, the noise of the day slowly fading into the background. It was a welcome relief, a chance to just exist without the weight of expectations bearing down on him. He didn’t know how long he wandered, his feet carrying him through the winding streets until a faint, familiar scent caught his attention.
Coffee. The smell was rich, comforting, with a hint of something sweet. Goro followed it, his curiosity piqued, until he found himself standing in front of a small, unassuming cafe. The sign above the door read Leblanc in simple, faded letters. It was the kind of place that could easily be overlooked, but something about it drew him in.
With a small shrug, Goro pushed the door open and stepped inside."

Goro Akechi is a world famous idol. That should really be the end of it, but living life under his father's thumb and being, subsequently, subjected to a merry band of foolish, all too kind thieves ends up leaving his life as an utter mess.
..He can't say he minds the latter all that much.

Summary
Yaldaboath decides to rig the game in an entirely different way, and the Phantom Thieves are created without Joker. Meanwhile, Ren Amamiya, who has been inexplicably turned into a ghost, decides to help out the strange and slightly unhinged detective Akechi Goro.
(I would rate this around T/M. There shouldn't be anything that is worse than canon.)
