    Nothing about this was new to him. Beomgyu knew this, the way everyone was acting right now; that was what he had grown up with. And essentially the reason for why he had left all those years ago.
    Being in this situation again though felt like someone poked into the scars that shouldn’t hurt anymore. It was phantom pain.
    It hurt.

    But Beomgyu kept pretending.

    Some old and new friends may just be the ones to show him that it’s okay to not be okay – and help him heal from all the wounds he’s been trying to hide all his life.

    The pain was so intense, Beomgyu couldn’t even really think. He wasn’t sure he wanted to. He had been thinking before, and look where that had gotten him? He didn’t have his phone with him, or any way to get up and leave or go back into the building. He was so soaked that he couldn’t even really feel the rain pour on top of him any longer, or feel the frigid chilly air. He couldn’t tell that he was still crying and screaming. He could tell that everything hurt. It ached and burned. He just wanted it to be over. He wanted this whole day to be over. He wanted to go back to the dorms, with the members. He wanted them to hold him and tell him that everything was okay. That wasn't going to happen though, They wouldn’t want to do that. Those thoughts were just selfish.
    Time passed; Beomgyu was completely unaware of any of it. Before long he got his wish. The pain faded into stars, his body too weak to keep total darkness from taking over his vision.
