Summary
Viktor stalked closer, eyes scanning over the unnamed human. A man, he soon realized, judging by his muscular frame. He was dressed in what used to be a white coat, now tarnished with dirt, sewage, and… blood. The man shifted slightly where he lay, the emblem on his shoulder glinting briefly in the faint light from above, only for a second.
Wait... That was--
The Talis emblem.
“Jayce?”
Throwing all caution to the wind, Viktor immediately dropped to his knees before Jayce, hands hovering over the man’s wounded form. To his surprise, Jayce flinched.
“You’re not real.”
OR:
Viktor begins having recurring nightmares of some ravine and tries to make sense of it. It’s not until he sees Jayce does he begin to realize maybe these were more than just persistent nightmares.

Summary
Viktor remembers Jayce lying across one of their desks as if it was a bed, arms folded under his head and ankles crossed, staring at the ceiling like it was moments away from collapsing onto him, and thinking how absurdly handsome he looked like that. He remembers forcing himself to look away, distracting himself by looking aimlessly at the chalkboard, pretending to be productive, until Jayce grabbed his attention by uttering a soft, ”Do you want kids, V?“
In the aftermath of it all, they survive and build a home.

Summary
“For science”. She said. Corners of her lips upturning slightly. She acknowledged it’s an odd request, but she also did not back down. Anything that could help the expedition.
He sighed, amused. Shoulders always stiff from the weight of his own sadness, and gestured vaguely around the camp. “It’s not like we have private rooms here so…knock yourself out”.
