Poor Tuvok's pon farr is further complicated by an annoyingly exuberant chef and the well-meaning intervention of his captain. When things take a turn for the worse, Kathryn must learn to cope with a blood fever of her own, with a little help from her dashing first officer.

    This is a pon farr fic, my riff of 'what if 'Blood Fever' happened to Janeway rather than to B'Elanna?'. Equal parts Janeway/Chakotay romance + smut, and Tuvok & Neelix friendship and support. Basically, Pon Farr is very kinky, but also leaves characters very vulnerable and in need of support, so I wanted to explore both aspects of that in this fic.
