“Oh. Charlie.”
He kept his head down, trying in vain to keep his voice steady. It wouldn't work, no matter what he tried.
“You said that– that if I– it…” he swallowed. “That I could– I could come to you?” He hated how his voice lilted up at the end, how weak it had sounded, like a question. He felt himself tear up and cursed whatever he could, avoiding looking at her as much as possible.
Her voice softened a fraction, making space for him to enter.
“Yeah, yeah… of course..”

Peter lifts his laptop off of his desk, setting it down in their lap after he sits down on the carpeted floor, crossing his legs. They arch an eyebrow at Flash. He looks tense... uncomfortable, almost.
"You... gonna sit?" Peter asks. Flash shifts, before nodding, sitting much further away than needed.
"Let's just start on the project, Penis." He crosses his arms and Peter rolls their eyes, scoffing.

Sooo with Sunrise on the Reaping coming out, I thought it would be interesting to get Haymitch's POV of the first three books. And since that didn't exist, I thought I would write it. So this is all three books, starting with the first, kind of like the work "Peetas Games" from Haymitch's POV. Enjoy. Let me know your thoughts! I am currently still writing this, so chapters will be released about every two weeks or so depending on school. When summer comes (just in time for catching fire) chapters will be released more frequently. <3

Summary
Larry Daley cannot accept that he has turned into a complete workaholic. The effects of pulling all-nighters are nothing but negative and Nicky ends up feeling neglected. You can't exactly bond with your dad if he's either sleeping or working.
Whilst Larry struggles to find a healthy balance between being the night guard and being a dad, Ahkmenrah steps in to play video games with Nicky. Unfortunately for the pharaoh, time won't stand still, no matter how much he wishes.
