Summary
Sova’s built his career on being perfect. Effortlessly accurate, honed to a point. It has made him invaluable to the Protocolー it’s made him worth the risk. Sova hides his too-long teeth, tries his hardest not to listen to every human heartbeat near him, and regulates his strength to appear more human.
So when he begins to get sick, slowly losing control of his instincts and needing to drink with increasing frequency, his options are limited. He can either give up, exposing his secret to the rest of the Protocol and becoming ostracizedー or he can work through it by himself, retain his reputation and career without worry of being hunted.
Sova knows what the outcome will be. He will not fail.
