Artem was sitting at his desk looking through case files as per usual, but there was a subtle heat simmering under his clothes. He simply dismissed it, thinking that the weather was hotter than usual even though the air-conditioning unit in his office was running perfectly fine.
“This is odd… why am I so unfocused today?” Artem got up from his seat, thinking of pouring himself a drink, when he felt something wet slide from his ass to his inner thighs. He gasped.

“-ius. Marius, are you with me? Can you look at me?” Marius couldn’t instantly place the voice of whoever was talking to him, however it strangely made him feel safe. As if on autopilot, he uncurled his body a bit and turned his head, the tear-blurred outlines of Artem’s face entering his vision. Normally Marius would probably recoil or try to hide, not one to appear vulnerable to others but it felt different this time. Artem hesitantly raised his hand and although blurred, Marius could recognize the questioning look on the attorney’s face. It was a small nod, barely visible but it was all Artem needed to carefully wipe the tears off Marius’ face.

Hua Cheng leans in. “I was beginning to miss you,” he whispers into Xie Lian’s ear.
Their proximity—combined with the heat of Hua Cheng’s mouth and the gravelly depth of his voice—is making Xie Lian weak-kneed. “S-San Lang, we can’t…” He trails off, scrambling for words.
“Can’t what?” Hua Cheng kisses below his ear, and Xie Lian pulls back, flustered. Hua Cheng grins.
