Izuku never remembered but he knew, he knew that something inside of him had broken then and been replaced by something else.

Izuku knew what it was to be unwanted. Growing up every year everyone in his schools celebrated the western holiday of ‘Valentine's Day.’ No one ever gave him a card or candy, but they demanded he bring them said items (if he didn’t he was generally beaten up worse than usual). He got very good at making chocolates and drawing cards, as he didn’t really have the money to buy prepackaged candy and printed cards. Though after he turned twelve things had changed for the better.
At age 15 he is now in the U.A. Heroics course and all the students now live in the dorms on campus. He wondered if his classmates would all expect him to hand out candy and cards to them. Like his elementary classmates expected. There were a few he wouldn’t mind giving cards and candy too… He’d have to see how the day went, and the party on the evening of February 14th. He knew he would have to get prepared in advance…
