"Cuz you're Alpha Jungkook's mate, and he's the most alpha of alphas!" The other pups nod in agreement. "So you must be his omega!"
"Yeah, everyone knows Alpha Jungkook is the strongest, toughest, fiercest alpha in the whole pack!"
Seokjin listens, entertained, as the pups continue to extol Jungkook's many strengths and achievements. "You pups really look up to him, huh?"
"Everyone looks up to Alpha Jungkook. He's the most important alpha in the pack after Head Alpha himself. Which makes it even weirder that he chose you, Human Seokjin."
or: being the only human in a pack of wolves makes life a little different for seokjin. good thing his utterly devoted alpha is always there for him.

Summary
Jeongguk's parents had promised to find him a nice alpha to take care of him, and Jeongguk's new fiancé is, well... nice.
And although he isn't happy, he will have to continue to sate the hopeless romantic in him with movies and songs, because no matter how much he may long for a true love that makes time slow down and his heart speed up in his chest, Jeongguk would never do anything to disappoint his parents.
Until he meets Seokjin, who is so much more than just nice. Jeongguk can talk with him for hours, quiet moments with him feel comfortable, and he challenges Jeongguk in every way. But they're just friends, Jeongguk tells himself. He tells Seokjin that too – though the alpha doesn't seem to hear.
