Summary
After the fall, Hannibal awakes in a VA hospital bed in New Orleans with no memories. Will is somewhat conflicted about that.
It's no excuse, but I wrote this in 30 days, a chapter every single day, and it was quite the discipline I can tell you. That said, I'm not sure whether it shows. There may or may not be some sloppy storytelling, and mistakes that I didn't pick up on as I read it through and hastily posted it. But I still like it, and it totally scratched my Amnesiac!Hannibal itch.

Bookmarker's Notes
“He said he didn’t want to be alone in the world anymore, and T’Challa could do this for him, or he could shoot himself in the head. Those were his only two choices.” She laughs softly, sadly, her voice wrecked. “He felt guilty because he knew you’d feel guilty. You’d think you’re supposed to be angry with yourself for going back in the ice in the first place. He said it wasn’t you. It was him. He wasn’t meant to ever come out of the ice. Some things are better left buried.”
--
He loves you. He’s in love with you. And he’s scared.” She looks back at Steve, and Bucky knows she’s watching his fingers trace the curve of Steve’s cheekbone. “Scared you won’t love him back. Scared that he can’t fix everything. Scared of never being enough.”
--
“Because the world needs people like you. People who are good. Strong in so many ways. People who fight for the right reasons. People who are honest and not afraid to stand up for what they believe in.”
“People need Captain America.”
“I wasn’t describing Captain America.” Bucky shakes his head. “Erskine picked you for that serum because of the man you were. You know what would have happened if you weren’t. We saw it. And don’t think I didn’t try to pull your face off when you were sleeping. Just to make sure.”
Steve huffs a rough laugh, and Bucky thinks it’s the proudest moment of his life. “That explains all those pinch marks.”
--
“Right. I didn’t say don’t use it. I said don’t lift a fucking building.”
“It’s a wall.”
Bucky looks upwards. “Mrs. Rogers, I do my best, but your son is the type that tries men’s souls, and we all know what sort of state mine’s already in.”

Summary
Steve learns about sex and love, from his first less-than-satisfactory attempts to get laid to figuring out what he wants most in the world (one guess who that is). This started off as a simple five-times fic. I tend to write Steve as virginal (though eager) when he gets together with Bucky, but I wanted to force myself out of that and give poor Steve some experience. It makes sense that he’d want to take that amazing new body out for few test drives, right? But it kind of mutated and grew, and the fifth time turned into multiple times. Then the “plus one” turned into a story of its own rather than just a little scene… I couldn’t help it!

Summary
He wanted to believe that his wedding day would be the happiest day of his life. But if he’s being honest with himself, he’s much giddier the day he signs his divorce papers.
“Not many people can say they were Captain America’s first wife,” Sharon says, sliding the documents across the tabletop to him.
