Summary
Scout programming is a marvel to behold. When protocols are engaged, the scout in question burns energon more efficiently as well as go longer without recharging. However, the downsides are apparent and a scout should never come off those protocols without a medic nearby. Long-lasting effects have not yet been recorded in fully grown bots, but nobody could predict its effects on a youngling. (Cross-posted on FFN)

He is mostly plain, an energetic scout who could charm anyone into being his friend sooner or later.
He’s worked hard to garner that reputation, fighting through unfortunate circumstances to be as normal as he possibly could.
That normalcy was in danger.
