He soon steps out of the closet, closing the door behind him, and leaves the bedroom altogether. With a glance towards the circular, analog clock that hung beside the fridge, he hums to himself and takes his phone out to check his messages.
“An hour or two flight, we'll be there soon” was written on the bubble of someone's most recent text to him, along with a smiley emoticon.
It would be just enough time to prepare, and no more minutes should be wasted. And so, the gambler immediately left the house with a destination already set in mind, their poker face of a smile being the expression they're wearing.
Or: The surprise doesn't go as planned... Well, at least for one of them. Though all that really matters for him is that Guest 1337—not a soldier that's still out serving for the country, and not even the last guest, but just the love of his life—is home, safe and sound in his arms.

His roommate only sighs, not exactly giving an answer, “Why are you even asking?”
Scott's face tints a slight color of scarlet, and he admits something he knew was inevitable ever since he brought up the question, “Because I see sparks when... when we kiss.”
Wallace's pupils dilate when he hears this information he thinks is incredulous, muttering, “...What?”
