Summary
Best Jeanist managed to convince Katsuki to at least try to be more approachable as a hero, so he started working towards mellowing out and properly navigating his emotions through therapy, since he didn't really know who to go to for that. For the most part, the only thing that adults and peers had ever exposed him to was pride and anger. His dad was pretty mellow though, so he did have one person to go off of. He's also known Deku since forever, and Deku is much better at expressing his emotions than Katsuki is, so that's another person to go off of. But Deku sometimes praises Katsuki a little too much...
Or, Katsuki starts wearing glasses in his downtime away from people to try to mellow out and be less prideful, but Deku thinks that Katsuki's eyes have 20/20 vision, obviously, because Katsuki is good at everything, so he doesn't recognize Katsuki with glasses on and ends up feeding Katsuki's ego.
