Summary
Lovely.girl02 (LonelyBird890) requested a fic where Dinah met and fell in love with Bruce first, and this was the result.
Dinah Laurel Lance grew up with several heroes as unofficial aunts and uncles, but she had a particularly close bond to her uncle Ted 'Wildcat' Grant. So once she was old enough to start showing signs of wanting to follow in her mother's heroic footsteps, she started to train with him. Bruce Wayne followed a different path after his parents were murdered in front of him when he was eight years old, but it eventually led to him seeking out some of the best trainers starting from his teen years and beyond. This included Ted Grant, and he couldn't help befriending Ted's niece...
The two may have lost touch when Bruce left Gotham to explore the world and seek more involved training to aid his transformation into the Bat, but now that he's returned, he runs into his old friend, as well as a blonde in fishnets who's already fighting crime in his city.
