this may be the most self-indulgent fic i've ever written
Leverage and WTNV are both such comfort shows for me, mashing them together just makes sense.
Anyway
Takes place roughly in the last season of Leverage and slightly behind current in WTNV. Once Mother Lauren comes back into town, intern Karim hires the leverage crew to take down strexcorp once and for all. Of course, none of the crew is expecting anything that Nightvale has to offer. The team must figure out how to con a god while navigating the fact that Hardison has no internet, Parker is remembering strange things, Elliot can't seem to trust his instincts, and Nate doesn't know how to predict an unpredictable town. Sophie is everyone's mom. Like usual.
The chapters will probably be quite short, cause I'll be honest, I'm writing this in between tasks at work and have to speed-run each chapter before my co-workers see I'm slacking off

I just want an excuse to write azi being extremely jealous because we don't get enough of that in the show
But basically
A long time ago, when brumating in her snake form, Crowley met a vampire named Stocking, who was also looking for a place to hibernate. The two regularly shared a cave over the years, it was comforting to have someone else around during such a vulnerable time. After Aziraphale left for Heaven, Crowley was low on friends, to say the least. Sure, Nina and Maggie were there, but Stocking understood supernatural things that they couldn't.
Meanwhile, Azi realized quickly that the job of Supreme Archangel was not what he thought it would be, and is desperate to stop heaven's plans. Heaven needs to charge up all the leylines on earth with celestial energy to jump-start the second coming, and eventually a reluctant Crowley meets up with Aziraphale after much begging to work out a plan on how to stop this. But who should arrive with Crowley? Some random vampire Azi has never heard of, who Crowley simply calls an 'associate.'
Lots of jealousy ensues, old friends get together, etc, etc, etc, -

Wanting to start fresh and get away from family resentment over your conditions, you move to a small town called Gravity Falls. You hear that a tourist attraction is just down the road from you, and find not only a great place to beat your boredom, but an odd family that you find yourself quickly befriending. As you get to know them more, you realize that they need help with some pretty out-there stuff.
