Summary
“I do dislike the sunny weather today, but you didn't keep me waiting for long, haha.”
With those lines, Turntapp's world paused for a minute. The rays shone down in slow motion, and his eyes proceeded to widen. He stares down at the fugitive with a look akin to unknowingly watching a leader get assassinated. Saparata didn't notice this through his laughs and giggles.
I think I heard that sentence before.
In every time loop, Saparata's fate ends the same. He dies in an excruciating way that could've been the slightest bit prevented.
In every time loop, Turntapp desperately tries to alter the other's demise—to save him.
In every time loop, the leader of the Covenant helplessly watches the infamous fugitive die in ways he could never imagine.
He dies, over and over, in a continuous manner.

No, today, there were guests over. They couldn’t play because his father couldn’t risk disturbing them. But just because they didn’t have to practise, it didn’t mean they enjoyed having guests over either. They were hosts after all; they had an image to maintain.

‘Es’, German for ‘Id’: the part of the psyche ruled by impulse, desire, and instinct. A curious name for a prison warden, especially one meant to pass judgment. But Milgram never asked Es to be fair, only to judge with their own stance.
Forced to grow closer to their prisoners, Es finds that their small world was collapsing onto them. Are they truly the judge, or just another prisoner of the system?
