Summary
When Lottie Matthews returns from the wilderness, nothing is the same. Her parents, in a last-ditch effort to reclaim the daughter they have lost, send Lottie to her aunt Karen Wheeler's house for a change of scenery- far away from the terrible truth of the plane crash. As Lottie moves into an already crowded Wheeler house, she is unaware of the rising tensions and the looming presence of Vecna returning. The group in Hawkins is constantly on edge. They were able to save Max and stop the fourth gate from opening, but they all know that Vecna was just going to return stronger, and it was only a matter of time before the world as they know it comes crumbling down.

Summary

Tommy Slater slaughtered twelve kids, including her sister Cindy. Max is left scarred—physically and emotionally. She feels abandoned by her family, especially after the suicide of her father, who left behind a note that made it clear she never mattered to him. Now, living with her alcoholic, distant mother, Susan, Max feels more alone than ever, even if her friends still try to help her despite her pushing them away. Max wrestles with the painful memories of her past, the curse of Shadyside that has haunted her, and the overwhelming sense that no matter how hard she tries to escape, the darkness always finds her. She feels trapped by her past, unable to outrun the shadow that looms over her life.

Summary
Ziggy Berman wished she could stay at Hogwarts forever. Things have been bad at home ever since her dad left and her mum became too drunk to string together a single sober thought, so Camp Nightwing is her only escape throughout the summer when she can stop pretending to be perfect, posh Lily, and just be Ziggy, but when she heads home for the summer before her seventh and final year at Hogwarts, she and her sister, Petunia head for Camp Nightwing early and just like everything in Shadyside it goes to shit.
Or: Ziggy Berman goes to Hogwarts under the name Lily Evans (don't ask me how), and then she goes back to camp Nightwing one summer, and the events of Fear Street 2 happen.
