If anything came close, it was what he’d experienced then: an ache to consume, an ache that was consuming him.
He remembered so vividly his hand around Yin Hanjiang’s throat, the moment he came the closest to snapping; and Yin Hanjiang so docile in his grip.
He would’ve let Wenren È devour him.
