Summary
Everyone in this Monastery had had years to adapt to the change, to get used to it, to start living it. Jay had mere months, and those months had been spent trapped in his room. He hadn’t been gradually introduced to these changes, he hadn’t experienced things changing one by one.. He was thrown in at the deep end and he couldn’t swim. Instead, he was just a weight sinking right to the bottom.
And he sure felt like he was drowning.

Months after getting his memories back, Jay is struggling to cope. Trying to act like things were normal, that they could be normal again, seemed to be his only way of keeping sane. Or so he thought..

And the universe seems to hate Branzy and does everything it can to ruin Branzy's day!

Hey y'all! This is a test run of sorts to gauge an audience for this fic idea. Essentially, I will be re-writing the entire Ninjago cannon in my own style and changing things up. Things like plot holes, character decisions that I didn't thing made sense, and just anything this fandom gripes over. Long before time had a name, the First Elemental Master created Ninjago, but his memory had long faded into myth, along with the knowledge of Elemental Masters. However, a thousand years later, five young elementals learn of their powers. What will become of them? How will the enemies of the past react to new elementals a millennium later?
