Summary
What if, after his disastrous reunion with Kaidan Alenko on Horizon, Shepard decides he'd been manipulated enough by Cerberus and takes matters into his own hands? What if he decides there's a way to get out from under The Illusive Man's thumb, take back the Normandy, and continue the mission against the Collectors on his own terms? After a clandestine meeting with Kaidan, Shepard's plan takes shape, setting up an early confrontation with Miranda Lawson and those who choose loyalty to Cerberus over the bigger picture.
