Summary
“They taste better the longer they’re left outside,” Osamu says, his lips pressing into the sweet interior of the dried persimmon.
Half-deep into his own bite, Keiji thinks it’s a metaphor for their love. Maybe Osamu hasn’t even realized it himself, instead focusing on getting the best texture for the persimmons, and finding the best time to harvest them. But it’s no doubt there, in the soft, yet ripe exterior of Keiji’s persimmon.
