“Well, I wanted to ask ya somethin' important.” an emotion shifted on Mammon's face, tan skin reflected the color of pink as he brought his hand to rub the back of his head in what seemed to be bashfulness.
Gloved hands discarded the rag, Barbatos reached for his own teacup and crossed his legs languidly looking down at his cup absentmindedly as the brown liquid sloshed around in the cup.
You would think he was asking him out on a date.
Basically a rewrite of that one lesson in Nightbringer where MC helped Mammon with a Job interview with Barbatos. except there is no MC and it is not cannon-compliant.
This is an excuse to write flustered Barbatos

Summary
Chargebolt is widely considered the first "true" hero of Quirked society — with a Quirk uncharacteristically strong for the Dawn of Quirks, he showed that the Quirked can do a whole lot of good if given the chance. A shame he sacrificed his life before he could see hero society blossom.
Also known as, Kaminari Denki falls into a dumpster and creates a whole lot of paperwork for Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa, along with causing him quite a few headaches and mental breakdowns. Nobody said finding out that the arguably most important figure in Quirked history is a traumatized teenager would be easy.

“Are we sure about this?”
“No, not really,” Zoey admits. She wanted to back up Rumi, and she wanted to be positive, but by the way Baby mills about, eyeing the TV suspiciously, she’s beginning to question her decision. “Is this safe? We were trying to kill each other very recently.”
“You’re the one who seconded bringing them here,” Mira reminds her, and Zoey sighs.
“Why did they come back instead of Jinu?” Rumi mutters, more to herself than anything.
Zoey answers her anyway. “Hey, it’s okay! You can try again soon! You got this, and we’re here.” Romance trips over the couch in a very undignified manner, and Mira slaps a hand over her face. Zoey raises her shoulders and smiles tentatively. “But we do have to figure out these Saja Boys first.”
After Rumi learns of a way to bring souls back in her search for one particular person, the Saja Boys slowly begin returning through trial and error. Turns out, maybe Zoey's type isn't as crush-worthy.
