"When the time's right." She added, "Maybe... maybe we could give it a chance."
Wordlessly, the pianist cupped her face in his hands. He seemed to gawk at her as if he were admiring a statue of beauty. He looked conflicted, however, as if he were stricken with both terror and astonishment.
"Are you sure about this?" His usually brave, broad voice quivered,
