  Summary

  The war’s almost over, but Stack’s still stuck between his brother’s plans for home, a letter he maybe shouldn’t have written, and a hunger he doesn’t have words for yet. Then something in the forest sinks its teeth in.

  Louis didn’t mean to leave a trail of bodies through Europe. Feeding on soldiers is easier. Cleaner. But this one doesn’t disappear like the rest.

  What starts in the Argonne mud doesn’t stay there.
