Viktor knows that Jayce's arms around him are the only thing keeping the voice of the Hexcore at bay. He knows he has only a few moments before it takes him away from Jayce forever.

Chips are good. Very normal, a bit mundane. A snack that humans and demons alike can agree is delicious.Chips are dependable. If you buy a bag of peach-flavored chips, you will get a bag of peach-flavored chips. Simple as that.
Chips are also very distracting. Pop open a bag of peach chips and you can successfully push down hundreds of years worth of bad feelings.
Wukong liked chips, especially in situations like these.
Or: I wanted to write the scene near the end of S5 E10 where Wukong and MK talk on Pigsy's roof. I really wanted to get into Wukong's head during that conversation.

Summary
MK brings chaos everywhere he goes. He knows that, and he has known that for years, for as long as he can remember.
It used to be your usual clumsiness. The chaos manifested itself in smaller ways: having constantly dirty hands from paint or graphite, waking up too late and missing something important, breaking his own belongings, hitting himself on the corners of tables or walking into walls... None of this means that MK's dumb, he's just a bit clumsy.
That's what he always chalked it up to, clumsiness.
Until, eventually, his supposed clumsiness started bleeding into everything he loved, even people.
or: my bite-sized attempt at spicynoodles angst which eventually devolves into fluff because i can't have mk be sad for more than 10 minutes

Summary
“Val- I-I don’t understand. What’s going on?” He reached for Val in desperation, trying to make sense of what was happening but his mind felt fuzzy and he couldn’t decipher the situation.
Val grabbed his hand and pulled Angel close to him. He exhaled pink smoke into his face and Angel felt himself relax into Val’s grip. Val used another hand to grab Angel’s chin tightly, claws digging in but not enough to break his skin.
“You’re not my problem anymore,” Val whispered into his ear. “I have no use for addict trash like you.”
OR
When Val loses Angel to the gambling overlord but makes sure Angel believes he simply didn't want him anymore. Angel is left devastated and unsure of what his new life and master will be like.
