Outside, yellow stripes of light had faded to orange slivers of comfort, and Henry could see a few trees blowing in the wind. The sky– though largely blocked by an overarching roof– looked slightly less toned than usual, most likely because of the storm the past night. Henry reminded himself to check on a tomato plant he’d started growing in the front lawn.
