September 2013, Arcadia Bay
Max returns to the original timeline and has 36 days to uncover Rachel's murder, warn Arcadia Bay's citizens about the storm and, most importantly, reunite with Chloe - as friends and as lovers.
But even in the first few days, not everything goes according to plan, which not only leads to Chloe becoming more distant from Max than ever before, but also to Max seeing her plan in jeopardy because she can't count on her partner in crime.
When Samuel and Nathan start hinting at events that haven't even happened yet in this timeline; events that neither of them could possibly know about, the question arises as to whether Max really caused the storm.
