Summary
Caitlyn is a prodigy lawyer trying to make it in the conservative environment of her family's legacy firm. Vi has been a single mother struggling to raise her sister since she was fifteen. When circumstances - and their mutual friend Jayce - throw them together they hash out a little quid-pro-quo, a mutually beneficial arrangement of respectability for Caitlyn, and security for Vi. But the chemistry between them is undeniable, they both end up getting a lot more than they bargained for.

Summary
Reki knows his soulmate's name is Langa, but also knows it's very unlikely that snowboarding star Langa Hasegawa is his soulmate. Still, he keeps up on news about the guy and when he learns that Langa's father was killed in an accident, he starts sending him letters. Drawings, really, that he can't admit to himself are love letters. He just hopes they brighten Langa's day, if he's receiving them at all.
Everything gets turned upside-down, however, when that same Langa Hasegawa suddenly transfers to Reki's school. It'll make giving him the anonymous love letters a bit easier, though...

Vi shook her head, too fast. “You don’t know what you saw.”
“I do. I saw finger marks, Vi. Around your throat.” Caitlyn’s voice rose despite herself, and her eyes were sharp, searching. “Are you really going to pretend I imagined that?”
Vi looked cornered. Her body tensed, as if every muscle inside her had seized up. Her eyes darted to the pavement, to the trees, to anywhere but Caitlyn.
“I don’t—” she started, her voice small.
“Why won’t you let me care about you?” Caitlyn asked, her voice cracking. “Why won’t you let me in? Is this even a friendship if you won’t let me help?”

Summary
Vi couldn’t stop herself. Her hips moved again, helpless, soft whines spilling past her lips as she chased relief she couldn’t quite reach.
Caitlyn shifted, her hand loosening at Vi’s waist as she blinked awake, adjusting to the dark. She felt it then—the subtle grind of Vi’s hips, the heavy, uneven breaths against her throat.
Then, suddenly, Vi froze. And whimpered.
She nuzzled into Caitlyn’s neck, whining softly, like a child refusing to admit what was wrong.“Darling,” Caitlyn murmured, her voice thick with sleep, fingers threading gently through Vi’s hair. “Are you alright?”
"You’re burning up. And you were grinding against me earlier—” She stopped mid-thought, the realization dawning. “Vi? Are you in heat?”
A muffled, embarrassed sound broke from Vi as she shook her head quickly, refusing to meet Caitlyn’s eyes.

Summary
After ten years in Stillwater for a crime she didn't commit, Vi breaks herself out and goes home. Her homecoming doesn't go like she thought it would.
Two years later, she's out of control and out on the streets. She's now a champion pitfighter, a raging alcoholic, and completely on her own. Despite her family's best (and desperate) efforts to help, Vi's on a one-way track to ending up either dead or back in prison.
At the same time, Caitlyn arrives in the undercity to collect data and information for her thesis. She starts her research from a local bar called The Last Drop, which puts her right into Vi's path. Vi might have been out of her family's home for years, but she's still not going to let a topsider put them in danger.
Canon divergence (everyone lives!), enemies to lovers (barely, the lovers aspect happens fast), angst, trauma, addiction, and also fluff and humour (because these things can co-exist!)
