    Summary

~*~This is a Director’s Cut/Extended Edition of the first Schrödingers, which needs brought into parity with the rest of the series before Book 3. It’s getting a higher rating because I’m even less nice and more foul-mouthed than I was then. The original remains as part of the series.~*~

Darth Revan died on his flagship two years into the Jedi Civil War, killed by Jedi prodigy Bastila Shan.

Six months later, smuggler Anna Kyjjl wakes up in a seedy apartment on a planet under Sith occupation with the Republic Navy’s poster-boy pilot and complete retrograde amnesia, searching for that same missing Jedi prodigy. A Jedi prodigy that is inexplicably bonded to her in the Force, with shared visions of Revan, Malak, and strange maps that leak the dark side.

But, as they take the war to Darth Malak personally in the hunt for these maps and the mysterious Sith superweapon they lead to, what sort of fresh hell does the Force have in store for one random, amnesiac smuggler-turned-Jedi with a screw-the-rules attitude?

KotOR 1 novelization up to the regrettable book Revan. First(.5) in the Schrödinger’s Trilogy.

“You can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to drink, you know.” Calyx propped her elbows on the counter.

Carth rolled his eyes in a way she would almost call theatrical. “You never stop talking, do you?”

“Tarisian Ale,” Calyx went on, ignoring his remark, “Local alcohol so you don’t stand out, and something canned because you don’t trust anyone to mix a drink for you, even when you can watch them do it.”

“Maybe I just like ales.” He answered.

    Summary

"I forgive you!" She cried. "All you have to do is stop!"

If he considered it, it was not for long. Soon his shoulders would square, his chin turning up in that way she knew so well. The return of Pride. No matter the instance, it would always come back to this:

She, reaching out, begging him to choose their love. He, leaning in, only for a fraction of a moment, and then no more.

"Ir abelas, vhenan... but I cannot." He kept his eyes away, his face and body turned. "Long before we met I... failed my oldest friend. She died for that failure," he explained. "If I leave the Veil in place, I am destroying the world she wanted. And I will have," he stuttered, "she, will have died for nothing."

Her heart was breaking. Before her and inside her. Her Pride was shattered. So, it would make sense now to turn away. All the same, she would sooner be destroyed at his heel than alone in a world without him.

There was no honour in it, sure, but it was the truth of the thing.

She would allow him his final betrayal. She would accept it; forgive it as the price of loving him.

    Her betrayer.
