Batlin was holding a piece of paper, sitting on a small chair in the middle of the room. On his left side — Louis stood, wearing a white suit with a navy tie. To Batlin’s right — Forden, wearing a black suit with a crimson tie; a small golden Sanctist necklace draping his neck.
“So, both of you will have two minutes to speak, and your microphones will only be on when it’s your turn to speak. No pre-written notes allowed.” Batlin clarifies, and as he does Louis’s jaw clenches before relaxing, smiling again.
TLDR: Euchronian politics but in a modern AU. Yeah.
