“Are you going to disappear again?” she asked. Her words were quiet, but they still pierced through the air clearly, and Elrond had no problem understanding what she said. He looked at the sky. The night was nearing its blackest, and he knew Arien set sail here long before she woke them in Beleriand.
“Not yet,” he said.
Sometimes, late at night, Elrond and Elros share a dream of white shores, a path through the woods and a Cottage at the end of it - and of a woman, who keeps insisting that she is their mother, who drowned long ago. Obviously, as Elros likes to remind his twin, she has to be lying.

In the end, it had been Gandalf’s decision to allow the second king of the Noldor, returned suddenly from death itself like a fire-eyed messenger of doom, to join their company. Aragorn had at first been in favor of sending him back to Rivendell for Elrond to deal with, but Gandalf had said that for him to be sent back to the land of the living at all was indication enough that he had a part to play in their quest, and Gandalf had had the final say.
Fëanor joins the Fellowship. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

Teli was not strong like the others nor had any great power but she had a great love for all of Arda. A great love for everything that the other Valar created and the Music. She could not create things like many of the others nor destroy them because her entire being was for peace and harmony.
And love she did, fully and unconditionally.
