Summary
In the centre of the bustling Red Light District of the capital lives a famous male courtesan.
The courtesan's allure does not come from looks, nor voice, nor how he performs in bed--in fact, he absolutely refuses to sleep with any of his clients. No, his allure is his mystery.
For he wears a veil at all times; red, opaque, lined with silk and completely concealing his face. Beauty is especially important when one’s job is to be perceived, to be admired. So to deliberately cover one's face is sure to make people talk.People are always reaching for the things they cannot have, for the things that are just beyond reach; curiosity killed the cat after all. There is a high chance that underneath that red, crimson veil is a deformed, hideous sight. But the off chance that it instead hides a beautiful, demure face is what keeps the courtesan’s large clientele coming back for more.
From rich nobles, powerful warlords and other military men, to even the Crown Prince himself--everyone wants to see what lies underneath Tendou Satori's veil.

Summary
Prince Akaashi had lived a tranquil life. His family ruled the kingdom in peace for generations—no wars, no heavy taxes, no unrest. A quiet, noble existence. But peace is fragile.
One night, everything shatters. A coup d'état strikes the castle, forcing Akaashi to flee with nothing but the clothes on his back and the loyalty of his two closest companions—his steadfast knight, Ushijima and Oikawa.
They escape into the depths of the forest, believing isolation will bring safety. But the woods are not empty. And the world beyond their kingdom is not what they expected.

“So, uh… it’s part of the tradition,” he said, eyes flicking toward the dancers. “You don’t have to or anything, but… would you like to dance?”
Keiji looked up at him, surprised—but then he smiled, small and genuine. “I’d like that.”
Before he stepped away, he turned to Ushijima, who stood like a silent sentinel near the fire. “Will you be alright here?”
Ushijima didn’t hesitate. His gaze flicked briefly to Bokuto, then back to Keiji. “If he touches you inappropriately,” he said, deadpan, “I will break his arm.”Bookmarked by niffnuffnice

Summary
Monsters have lived on Earth for millennia, hiding in plain sight to avoid what humanity threatened in the past: death to anything abnormal or seemingly supernatural. Over time, with fewer monsters being seen, these real threats turned into the miserable endings promised to monsters in every story, but what was once the truth for monsters is now nothing more than a perceived figment of imagination to humans. Nonetheless, the fear persists and, despite their dwindling numbers, a monster's survival still means pretending to be human. But even monsters need a place to be themselves. Thankfully, you just have to know where to look.
Ushijima Wakatoshi doesn't believe in monsters. He's just looking for a quiet place to do his laundry.

Summary
Tendou looks up again. “So… we gotta get him back in the nest.”
“That is correct.”
“And how do you plan on doing that?”
Ushijima blinks a few times. Then, as if he isn’t standing at the base of a towering Japanese Maple, says, “By climbing it.”

or: Tendou loves Ushijima. Ushijima loves birding. They work it out.
