And sure, she's a little uncomfortable when Azriel shows up, after everything, but that's fine. Manageable. She's doing very well, thank you much.

She had more than enough battles before her as it was, no need to add her family to their number if they were so pig-headed as to insist she leave them to their failures. After all, there was nothing in their previous arguments that said she couldn't provide her assistance elsewhere.
