Summary
When Falcom made the early drafts for Sen no Kiseki, Class VII members were supposed to be officer cadets attending an officer school. Those plans were then discarded resulting in the Thors Military Academy we all know and love.
This story is a reimagining of the Cold Steel Saga. A hypothetical scenario in which Falcom doesn't abandon their original plan. It includes an aged up Class VII and a more immediate plot compared to canon. There will also be more military themes, more politics, more character introspection and a breakdown of Kiseki orbal arts and martial arts.
In other words: plot first, character development and worldbuilding second, romance third.

On the morning of October 6th, S. 1201, at the future site of Orchis Tower, Sara Valestein, former A-Rank Bracer and newest Regimental Commander of the Zephyr jaeger corps, is arrested for the murder of CPD Detective Guy Bannings; the very same murder she was trying to solve.
The Blood and Iron Chancellor demands the case become cold. No leads. No investigation. No court date. So long as the status quo was maintained, nothing was off limits. Naturally, Claire Rieveldt and Lechter Arundel can't exactly ensure that there is no hope of conviction without an understanding of the minutiae.
But, the more they dig, the more horrors they unearth by the dozens. There is a secret there, hidden between monstrous conspiracies and ancient prophecies written in black; a riddle designed to be unsolvable until the appointed time. The roots of a thousand-year delusion, entrenched so deeply into the continent that they've become entwined within fate itself. While the entire picture eludes them, knowing even a piece of the truth is more than enough to set everything ablaze.

When Sara’s scouting party is caught in an ambush, and she is scratched by a poisoned dart, she’s forced to flee into the fog. There, she finds Kokomi, her greatest enemy, similarly injured. But when Sara lunges to steal an antidote from the Priestess, she mistakenly drinks an aphrodisiac, granting Kokomi an opportunity to interrogate the vulnerable General even as Sara plots her vengeance.

Only worse, because I didn't even sign up for the damn lottery, but was chosen anyway for the scam. Not that I was reborn as a girl. Well, that was kind of a scam too, but I didn't mind too much. I wasn't that insecure as a person. No, the scam was, that I was born in North Ambria.
This is an alternate possibility where the soul transplanted to JesSIca was transplanted to Sara instead, becoming a mentor figure capable of fighting toe-to-toe with McBurn even as she struggle against the political threats against her students, much like the character quoted for the title name. My name is Alfin Reise Arnor, I was originally some doctor from another world called "Earth", who caught the very disease he was trying to save people from, and then for the past 15 years, I've been reborn as the one and only isekai "harem member" in this JRPG world.
