"You're not on MY side!" He started breathing heavily, his voice sounding strained. "You're on THEIRS! How-how DARE you claim to me on my side when you're one of my most frequent TORMENTORS!" his face scrunched up in an entirely worse way as his breath hitched.
"I- I- I can't believe." He sniffled.
Membrane leaned forward in the chair to gently grasp at his son's arm, still trying to process what just happened. "I-Dib I don't. . .I don't understand." He said, mostly on autopilot.
Dib growled and yanked his arm out of Professor Membrane's grip. "Don't TOUCH me!" He yelled as he sprinted out of the kitchen.
