Summary
Carmelo, Rudy, and Emilio are all workers on a trade vessel. The country they live in is heavily involved with the surrounding sea trade. Sirens are a constant danger and threat. Stories of sailors being killed and eaten are all too common. Humans and sirens regularly engage in deadly battles. A good sailor never sails without earplugs. But not all sirens are so hostile.
