His back hits the dirt, the power of Shadow Milk’s deceit pinning him down. The beast himself is crouched over him, growling and shouting in his face. They’ve been fighting for hours, and Pure Vanilla is exhausted, and wants it to end.
“Shadow Milk.. I do not wish to harm you,” Pure Vanilla tells him.
“Why not! Why don’t you want me six feet under! What’s wrong with you!” Shadow Milk picks him up by the shoulders and slams him back down, but Pure Vanilla doesn’t stop smiling.
“Because we’re connected, and I know that you’re good,” Pure Vanilla says.
