Summary
The gas station is just how he remembers it, bar a few changes possibly due to the passage of time. However, Wilbur is an observant person, his brain likes to pick out small patterns and details that others would notice.
Which is why the sudden appearance of crucifixes, placed above every doorway of the building, elicits some confusion for him; because they definitely weren’t there before.

After the events of Wilbur’s last lore stream, and his return to the Utah gas station, he is quickly confused for a vampire.

Guillermo can’t quite believe if what he is seeing is real. There’s no way this isn’t some sort of joke. I mean, who would be dumb enough to put an advertisement in the paper, for a vampire’s familiar?
And yet, the words are sitting right in front of him- ink on paper.
“VAMPIRES FAMILIAR WANTED FOR NANDOR THE RELENTLESS.
MUST BE HUMAN AND NOT BORING!” -

Quackity lives a pretty simple life. He wakes up, he goes to work, he goes home. Sometimes he visits the local market for his groceries. Other times, he takes a walk through the city to clear his head. On those walks, he allows his body to travel on autopilot; always surprised when it takes him to the edge of the forest.
A place he, nor anyone else in the city, dares to entre.
For local legend warns of: axe murders, The Fae, and- above all- eldrich beings; that could tear you limb-from-limb, if you stepped foot into their territory.

Quackity finds a lost child in the alley, outside of his work- taking her in, until they can find her dad.
