All eyes turned to Damian. “Robin?” Batman questioned, his tone clipped.
Damian frowned, visibly confused. But before he could respond, Superboy clarified, “No, not him.” He scrunched his nose slightly, as if the idea amused him. “Red Robin.”
“Why?” Batman’s tone was guarded, but there was a flicker of something else—curiosity? Hesitation?
Superboy gave him a look, part confusion and part disbelief. “Because he’s an expert on the occult? You know, all things supernatural?”
“Red Robin?” Batman repeated, his voice low with something like disbelief.

Summary
It seems ridiculous to say, but Bruce is beautiful as a wolf, pitch black, and huge. Tim’s never really spent that much time around big dogs, but even he can see how truly massive Bruce is in comparison to a normal dog. He presses his face against the downy soft fur of Bruce’s stomach, feeling the way it tickles against his skin. He doesn’t even smell of dog, not really, just a bit like grass after rain, and somehow still, that scent that is so fundamentally Bruce, the one that makes Tim want to crawl into his ribcage and never leave.
It had seemed like it would be an ordinary night, as much as it could with Tim alone in the manor. Unfortunately, a League mission goes wrong, leading to a Batman magically transformed into a wolf to be deposited in the cave for Tim to take care of until the spell ends.

Summary
The start up systems check cataloged a great deal of damage, which Tim idly recorded for later examination when he actually had the capacity to do something about it.
That was, until he started noticing some strange terms. Things like “stasis disengaged,” “life support at 24% capacity,” and “sustained significant damage to remaining organic components.”
It took until the automatic processes neared the completion of their assessment, declaring an “unacceptable resource drain,” and concluding that it would “isolate and purge all unnecessary organics,” that Tim realized just what he was looking at. This wasn’t some empty droid that he could assimilate into his network. This was a cyborg, one who’d apparently been buried and forgotten and had to shut themself almost entirely down in order to preserve power and save their own life.
“No,” croaked a weak voice, and Tim snapped to attention. This was a person, and their own programming had just decided that all of the pieces that made them them were unnecessary. They were about to die, right in front of him, and it would be all Tim’s fault.
