Summary
Eddie still looked wrecked, but his eyes were a little clearer. He slumped against the doorframe, hands shoved into the front pocket of his baggy sweatshirt. When he spoke, his voice was hoarse. “You…you don’t have to do that.”
“Well, I’m not sure my back can take the air mattress forever,” Buck said.
“No, I mean…” Eddie rubbed his eyes with a sweatshirt-covered hand. “You shouldn’t have to…to clean it up. It’s my mess.”
“Then it's my mess, too,” Buck said, shrugging one shoulder.
Eddie’s expression crumpled and he covered his face with his hands, shoulders curling inwards.

Summary
“Cute,” Gerard sneered. "If you’re so obsessed with him, why are you sticking around here fucking up my station?”
Buck blinked at him, something in his brain slotting into place. He considered a moment before he said, “Huh. You’re right.”
That seemed to throw Gerrard off.
“Buck,” Hen said quietly, her eyes wary.
“No, he’s right,” Buck said. He felt suddenly lighter than he had in weeks. “I…I think I need to go to Texas.”

Summary
Eddie was not intentionally snooping. Not really. He’d been about to announce his presence when the conversation switched track and landed on how Eddie leaving was going to impact the team. Impact Buck. As much as he didn’t like to eavesdrop, Eddie had been finding Buck’s recent behaviour strange and any additional insight would be welcome. So this wasn’t snooping per se. Rather he was being a good friend to Buck.

Summary
Eddie’s been in love with Buck for years—but he’s good at hiding things, burying feelings, and pretending everything’s fine. Until one night, he just... can’t anymore. He blurts out that he wants to scene with Buck, and to his surprise, Buck says yes. What starts as one scene quickly spirals into something deeper, something neither of them are quite ready to admit out loud. Cue: seven years of pining, mutual idiocy, soft dom!Buck, emotionally constipated!Eddie, a whole lot of feelings, some very intense aftercare, and eventually realizing that sometimes, love sounds a lot like “Color?” and “Green.”
