Tonight, Zhao Yunlan is clear-headed enough to properly enjoy it. He had asked for the taxi driver to let him out a couple blocks away from home, and he revels in the swing of his legs and the wind through his hair as he walks.
It isn’t long until his mind, as it often does these days, wanders over to rest upon an image of the mysterious Professor Shen. The thought of Shen Wei is always a pleasant one, though the logical part of his brain likes to suggest that perhaps it shouldn’t be.

Summary
Shen Wei froze. Just for a moment, only a second or two, but it was enough for Zhao Yunlan to lift his head and look at Shen Wei, his eyes starting to clear from its contented haze. Shen Wei opened his mouth, to say — to say what, exactly?
After all, it was such a nice evening, and Shen Wei didn’t want it to end. Didn’t want to make it not nice. So he pulled Zhao Yunlan towards him instead, with just the right amount of force to make Zhao Yunlan gasp, and swallowed that up with an open-mouthed kiss.

Summary
Lost in the past, Shen Wei shoved his hands into his jacket pockets. His fingers met small hard balls on smooth sticks and recognised them instantly. Heart clenching, he withdrew the pocket’s entire contents: three lollipops, a little ziplock bag filled with dried fish, and a wad of pages torn from a notebook and roughly folded. The outside of the paper was unmarked, but its surface texture bore evidence of the handwriting within.
He was still wearing Zhao Yunlan’s jacket. Whatever was written on these pages wasn’t meant for his eyes.
