Some people say that when your death is approaching, you can sense it. A shift in the air, an unshakable certainty tugging at your gut. The hair on the back of your neck stands up, you feel the goosebumps on your skin, and you think yes, this is it. For Satoru Gojo, it happens too fast for him to react. One second he’s staring forward, and the next he’s lying on the ground, snowflakes dancing in the grey, cloud-filled sky. He doesn’t feel much of anything, now. Even the Strongest cannot come back from being sliced in two.
If death is the failure of vital systems, then it refers to the collapse of the physical body. But what happens to the spirit? Through lingering feelings, hope transcends mind and body, becoming something more. Satoru sees nothing, and then there is light.

Summary
If someone were to ask Yuji Itadori what his thoughts are on being a teacher, he’d probably say that he enjoys it, because it’s fulfilling. There’s something about helping the next generation of sorcerers improve that makes you feel like you’re doing good in life. On the other hand, there’s a little downside that comes with teaching the first years of Jujutsu Tech—which, mind you, are fifteen-year-olds—and that downside is the random questions they blurt out that make him reconsider his career altogether.
