“Mark,” Helly breathes. A wave of revulsion knocks over her, the thought of her body doing things that she wasn't there to witness. “Did you... did she…” She swallows, forcing herself to finish the sentence. “Did you kiss me? When I was her?”
Mark finally looks up at her, something straining at his face. His eyes are tinged red, wet. The muscle in his jaw pulls, twitches. He opens his mouth. Closes it.
“Worse,” he chokes out.
A part of her already knows it's true. "Oh god," Helly says.
