Summary
It all started when Izuku got One for All from All Might (All Might!!). Izuku of course knew he was inheriting a rather weird quirk, since said quirk could be passed down, and the entire reason for the quirk was to kill a 200 year old potato supervillain, he digresses, the quirk was weird. Though, if Izuku had known it was this weird, he probably would've stayed quirkless.
You may be asking, how weird could it get? Its just a transferable quirk, right? Well you're wrong. Izuku inherited a quirk thats being haunted by 7 feral dead people hell bent on ruining his days.
Now, when he lived with his mom it was fine and dandy, he got used to the weird things happening around him. Whether it be Yoichi using the walls as paper to beg Izuku to kill All for One, Nana making him food at 3am, third trying time and time again to set something on fire, the list went on; but it became Izuku's normal.
So the poor sweet summer child thought nothing of it when he moved into the dorms.

Shinsou’s still staring at him, and it occurs to Izuku that he was asked a question.
“Oh!” he sputters, because his traitor brain currently can’t focus on anything other than how pretty Shinsou’s eyes are. “Y-yes! I’m fine!” He tries to wave his arms but forgets, again, his current predicament, and the sudden motion destroys his precarious balance in Shinsou’s lap and he begins to teeter dangerously.
I deserve this, Izuku thinks.
(Or: 5 times Midoriya embarrasses himself in front of Shinsou, and 1 time Shinsou's too distracted to notice.)
