Outbreak day
A deathly virus spreads all across the country, no one knows where it came from, but they all know the consequences of it: anyone who's infected dies in agonizing pain, just to be brought back to life minutes later, but as what children commonly call "a zombie."

It wasn't really an issue of who he was going on a date with - althought in the last couple of days their interaction had been limited to the work background, Max had turned out to be better than he had expected (and considering he was expecting a serial killer, the bar was low) - but of the why.

“What the fuck just happened?!” Sejanus asked on the radio. A few seconds later came the response of his engineer, who sounded as confused as Sejanus was.
