Summary
Tachihara looked at him with an unrecognizable expression on his face.
Junichiro Tanizaki was an agency member, one of the good ones at that. He hasn't tried to hook up with a mafioso, or a guild member, or a fellow detective. He didn't disappear for hours a week to come back saying his latest attempt at suicide didn't word, and he did all his paperwork.
(That's how (most) of the agency saw him. Tanizaki was pretty sure Ranpo saw through his "normal, good worker" act.)
So how did he end up opposite a hunting dog, trying to keep his face devoid of emotion?

The bandaged man started to stick out his hand, blue light surrounding it.
Dazai managed to make contact with the fur, and instantaneously an explosion of blue light surrounded the two men and the tiger.
Suddenly, there was no tiger.

Ranpo stared longingly at the twinkish guy across the street. He looked like someone who would watch anime on YouTube for a living, but also like a sopping wet kitten, but he wasn't actually wet. His hair was just really, really, really greasy.
Ranpo growled from the bottom of his throat as soon as he saw the odd-looking twink across the road.

Chuuya wants to make Dazai feel alive. Dazai wants to keep Chuuya alive.
They both try to take care of each other the best they can, bringing them closer.
Until Dazai leaves.
That's when it all goes wrong.

Summary
Pro Hero Bakugou Katsuki is on his way... to the bottom. His ratings suck, his reputation sucks, and even his agency has it out for him. Katsuki can see rock-bottom coming, but he can do nothing but brace for the inevitable, painful impact.
Meanwhile, Midoriya Izuku hit rock bottom months ago. He's pulling himself back to his feet, working shitty jobs with shitty pay and just doing his best to eat most days. At least he's not in debt anymore, though. At least he has a roof over his head.
On Katsuki's way down and on Izuku's way up, they catch each other.

Or, after five years apart, Katsuki and Izuku meet again under equally humbling circumstances. Things improve from there.
