“Nathaniel, look at me,” Castiel whispered, and he hesitantly opened his eyes.
Nathaniel glared up to his face, almost expecting to see mischief grim but, instead, his gray eyes were full of concern and comfort, being enough to make him break.
“I will never stop being your friend.”
Castiel wrapped his arms around his body, hugging him tightly, making him realize that he was shaking.
“Do you promise?” He quaked.
“I promise.”
What a fucking hypocrite, Nathaniel thought, angrily cleaning his desk.
