A torrent of wind shoves at his back, pushing him to pick up the pace ever so slightly until he’s right up against his mom’s side, her arm naturally wrapping around his torso. Her hand is cold against his skin, but that was quite normal for those blessed by the wind, so Jo had long gotten used to the feeling of icy fingers caressing his skin. “This is my son, Jo!
